Represented library to patrons and assisted them in finding required reserve materials. Explained and demonstrated the library item search computer program to patrons. Labeled and organized new reserve materials and answered phone calls made to the department.

Assisted customers by taking food orders at front counter or by telephone then made orders. Worked in a very community-orientated environment during high-traffic breakfast and lunch shifts. Due to the competitive nature of the business in the local area, good relations with customers were vital to our success. Oftentimes, in an effort to increase customer service, pre-made orders for regular customers.

Created and directed a dance class for a community recreation center. Taught students aged 4-6 years basic ballet and jazz steps. Strived for and maintained good relations with both parents and students. Prepared class material and choreography for students.

Managed contests and special projects for Kiwibox, including the website's first creative writing competition; directed volunteer judges for contests. Spearheaded a campaign for better editor-reporter communication. Campaigned for and co-founded a program for new reporters that would allow them to learn to edit and critique their own work. Founded and developed an article illustration program to prevent copyright infringement and encourage further participation of student artists on the website.
