About Holly

Ashley (right) and me at the Boston Pops concert, July 4, 2007.

My name is Holly Grande and I am a Public Relations and International Relations student at Boston University. I intend to use this degree in the communications field as a professional consultant for firms.  After graduating in May, 2008, I plan on returning to Atlanta to begin my career in the communications field.

I'm a Yankee, born and raised on "the island," New York.  About eight years ago, my parents decided to pick up and move to Atlanta, where I picked up a southern twang during my four years at Sequoyah High School.  In high school, I had aspirations to write novels and Pulitzer Prize winning work, and I still hope to do that.  I actively participate in several writing communities and my school literary journal and newspaper when I am not hard at work on completing my college degree.

The adorable baby photo of Greg he told me not to post.

Back in good ol' Georgia, I have two siblings who I love to pieces.  My sister Ashley is one of my soulmates, and while we may not always get along, we're always there for one another. Ashley is an Architect student at Georgia Tech, and the only person I can find who will come with me to see foreign films.  My little brother Greg is turning ten this year and full of energy.  Too smart for his own good, he has conned me into helping him on a number of art and science projects.  (So far, I have earned two A's and an A+ in fourth grade).  Greg recently convinced my parents that every boy needs a dog, and the newest addition to our family is a rambunctious Chesapeake Bay Retreiver named Brio.
